The Grey Inn is a hypergrid meeting place. To access it, set your home to a hypergrid enabled region and teleport from there. The adress is tgib.co.uk:9069 for access from HG 1.0, tgib.co.uk:9070:tgib for HG 1.5 i6 and tgib.co.uk:9710:tgib for OSGrid & compatibles.
Inworld chat at the inn is linked to the channel #tgib on irc.freenode.net; chat gets transferred between both hypergrid versions, thus it is recommended to not talk confidentially in local chat.
The Inn doesn’t have any proprietor and anyone can make themselves home there any time. It will be used for random events and objects all over the sim can be copied.
While we allow account registration, it is encouraged to run your own standalone and use hypergrid to go there.

I recently visited TGIB. Beautiful!
So beautiful that I’m planning to bring our Hypergrid Adventurers Club on a visit to “The Grey Inn Between” this Sunday.
We’ll be there around 5:30pm and 10:30pm GMT.

I think we need detailed login instructions. tgib.co.uk:9710:tgib does not let me get connected via Hippo. I do have a standalone, but how to get to TGIB is beyond me. ;-(

I had it offline for a few days, because I need to do server maintenance, but I started it up again for now. You can’t log in directly, but if you enter the hypergrid adress (tgib.co.uk:9710:tgib) in map search, it should enable you to teleport there.

I guess it depends on what version you’re on. When coming from an OpenSim 0.7 destination, use http://tgib.co.uk:9070:tgib ; from OpenSim 0.7.1 & later, use http://tgib.co.uk:9710:tgib

I recently visited your sim via hypergrid from OSGrid and from a standalone. It is a very good build. There was one problem however- the ground textures were all blank white which I don’t think was your intention. I have noticed this in a number of hypergrid destinations and wondered if you were aware of this and if anyone else has noticed this

Hi, the white ground texture is a known bug/glitch on hypergrid travels, whenever non-default ground textures are used. They sometimes load, sometimes don’t, it seems to be a little dependent on the viewer, but more on luck. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you, but there is sadly very little I can do about it. It just happens. (Clearing cache, however, helps sometimes.)

Made it to the Leaning Lighthouse with no problems :)
To previous poster Bryster, you do need to jump from within 4096 regions coordinate wise or will get the error.
