OKOKOK…I know I have not posted much in a long time. It is kinda hard to post a TD when I am sitting right next to the man I love more than my life…and can just reach over and whisper in his ear all the things I used to write to him when I was a million miles away. Trust me…I am NOT complaining! There is no where in the world I would rather be than right by his side. But it has just left me with little to blog about.

V has tried for the longest time to get me to blog about fashion…or fashion related topics. And I have always bucked at it…feeling like there are 296758460247650 blogs about SL fashion on the net….and I did not feel the need to add one more. He insisted that I would have something to offer that all the others might not…and I just could not see it. While I LOVE….did I say LoooOOOOOVvvvve to shop in SL…and to dress and coordinate clothing with hair..and shoes…and nails, jewelry, lashes….and the list goes on…I just did not feel that what I did was special and/or anything that anyone would be interested in. I must admit…when we make introductions at our HGAC meetings, I seldom know what to say. Being that I rarely blog anymore…and feeling like I really haven’t much to contribute…it is really hard to say more than “Hi…I am El…V’s partner!” And while I am THRILLED to be V’s partner, it just sounds kinda pathetic compared to most of the intros given by everyone else. And then of course, there is the fact that I am sitting next to THE Vanish Firecaster/Seriath…and well…what can you say after that???? (I KNOW you hate to hear things like that baby…but it is just the way I feel about it…) I told V I wanted him to make me a T shirt to wear to the group that said “I just wanna be cute!” on the front…with a picture of “ruth” on the back! I thought it would be funny…but he has yet to make me one. Traveling in the hypergrid can be bumpy…and I usually end up without all my MILLION attachments making it thru all the jumps…and consider myself lucky when I make it through all of them with my hair intact and ANY clothes on at all!

So…recently I have been playing around with a couple of ideas to share with all of you. One of them I will keep the lid on…as it is still in the “formulation” stage…and as V has seen…that can take QUITE some time. The other thing that I have been playing with is taking pictures of all the work I put into getting dressed each time I buy a new outfit! And I really LIKE that! I found a wonderful FREE Photography Studio by JaneDark Miles in SL .   I have also been visiting some of the BEAUTIFUL places there are in SL and have taken some pics there as well. And I have amassed quite a collection of photos.

I opened a Flickr account…the first time I have ever done anything like that. I have had it “opened” for almost a week now…and STILL have not posted anything to it! But today I ran across a blog site by Luna Jubilee and she has come up with this idea call “52 weeks of color”. Each week she posts a new color and the ladies (and I guess men could participate if they so chose) dress in that color and take pictures of it, to post in the flickr photostream that goes along with it! I was so intrigued by this simple idea that I had to do it! I went right to my SL “Sanctuary” and started dressing and putting an outfit together in this weeks color theme…which was taupe. Then I edited the pics…and voilá….my very FIRST post to flicker was born!

V has graciously posted my pics on the sidebar of TGIB…and as I add more you will be able to see them as a slideshow there…and if you click on them it will take you to my flicker site if you want to take a closer look. I have just started with 3…but I have many more to come in the near future. So feel free to come take a look, post a comment…and/or join in the 52 weeks of color! I would love to hear from you! I hope you enjoy them. I am FAR from a photographer…and although I have always wanted to do some modeling…I have never really done so. But I AM having lots of FUN…and that is what it’s all about after all! So I just thought I would share some of that with you. Enjoy…..
